CARTA DE PRESENTACIÓN PARA CURRICULUM PROFESOR DE HISTORIA

Buenos días, mi nombre es ___ y me pongo en contacto con vosotros para haceros llegar mi Curriculum Vitae, que adjunto en este correo electrónico, con la finalidad de que me podáis tener en cuenta cuando tengáis una vacante en el centro.

Gracias a mi experiencia laboral y a mi formación, puedo dar asignaturas de Humanidades como Historia del Arte, Historia, Geografía, Filosofía, Culturas Clásicas y Lengua y Literatura Castellana.

En mayo de 2017 terminé el máster en Formación del Profesorado, con la especialización en Geografía e Historia por la Universidad Internacional de Valencia. Soy graduada en Historia del Arte por la Universidad Rovira i Virgili de Tarragona.

Una vez finalizada la carrera, me trasladé a Barcelona para cursar el Máster de Estudios Comparativos de Literatura, Arte y Pensamiento en la Universitat Pompeu Fabra, que me permitió ampliar mis ámbitos de conocimiento y reforzar mi concepto de arte y humanidades, entendidos como un todo interrelacionado.

Desde entonces – hace ya cinco años – me di cuenta de cómo, a pesar de apasionarme la formación teórica en estos campos, mi vocación era trabajar en el mundo de la educación. Desde entonces, hasta septiembre de 2017, trabajé en el sector de la educación en museos en la empresa ___. Así fue como descubrí, más allá de mi pasión por el patrimonio y la cultura, la importancia de la educación y la transmisión de conocimientos. Durante este tiempo, he desarrollado la capacidad de adaptarme rápidamente a las características de los distintos grupos, amoldando las explicaciones y las actividades de aprendizaje según las edades y las situaciones de los alumnos.

Además, tengo un nivel C1 de inglés, así que también podría impartir clases en este idioma. Mi posibilidad de incorporación y realización de entrevistas es flexible, de modo que podría adaptarme perfectamente a vuestras necesidades. Creo que es mucho lo que me podría aportar trabajar en este colegio y que estaría encantada de conocer a fondo.

I am an English teacher, fluent in English, Spanish and Portuguese, with experience in teaching students of different ages and nationalities.

In 2014, I completed the CELTA course in order to better myself as a teacher and have an extra English teaching qualification. I have dedicated my life as a student to the English language and culture (I was a student at the British Council Institute for several years and took three Cambridge exams), I lived in England for almost 4 years and taught there for over a year.

My professional experience has been acquired in the performance as an English teacher at various language institutes, schools and private students in Portugal and England.

I believe my University studies in languages have given me an understanding of the Spanish language as well as the English language allowing me to anticipate the learning challenges of my students. I also believe that my previous experience in language institutes, such as Helen Doron English, have prepared me for any teaching role due to having had to to teach students from the age of 3 months to adult age.

After living in Madrid in the past, I am moving back to the city and am really excited to go back to teaching. I will be available full time from January 2017.
