Dear principal,
My name is Terry Montez. I have a Degree in Communication from the International University of la Rioja, a master’s degree in Teacher Training with a specialization in Social Sciences from CEU San Pablo University of Madrid, and I am currently a doctoral student in my last year in Social Communication at the same institution.
I have more than three years of professional teaching experience. I have taught History classes to High School and Secondary School students. I am also a university professor due to an FPI scholarship that has allowed me to teach undergraduate students.
I am a creative teacher, capable of empathizing with students and understanding that the History subject may be complicated for some. Thus, I use innovative methodologies that lead students to value past events to understand the present and make them feel a fundamental role in constructing the future. This way, the actual value of the subject is increased.
I have contributed to the scientific community through lectures at international conferences and research articles published in scientific magazines. I also collaborate as a scientific editor and in management tasks of the doctorate program at CEU San Pablo University.
As a teacher, I want to share my knowledge in the classroom with my students and help them achieve their goals, showing them that their efforts today will reward them tomorrow.
