ENGLISH TEACHER COVER LETTER WITH EXPERIENCE
Dear Sirs and Madams,
I have attached my curriculum vitae for your review. I am an Elementary Education Teacher specializing in Foreign Language: English. After I graduated and worked as a monitor for classrooms and extracurricular activities, I wanted to improve my English level, so I decided to go to the United States as an Au Pair. My stay in the United States lasted two years in which, other than having unforgettable experiences and perfecting my English, I studied several courses related to education and the language at two American universities. I am currently certified by the University of Cambridge at the “B2” level and by Trinity at the “C1” level. I am also in possession of the “DECA” degree (Postgraduate in Catholic Studies for Education / “Declaración Eclesiástica de Competencia Académica”) and a master’s degree in Technology-Mediated Language Teaching and Learning at the Open University of Catalonia (UOC).
I have taught Science (Natural and Social bilingually) in 2nd and 4th grade (line 2) and English in 2nd grade for a full term (2nd term). I have also been a temporary substitute in several Elementary classes; attended monthly meetings and evaluation sessions; have taught remedial classes, monitored during recess, took attendance in activities outside the school premises, participated in the school’s projects; developed and graded tests, and scheduled sessions, as well as communicated with parents through Classroom.
Last but not least, I have been a volunteer as a Leisure and Free Time Activities monitor and sociocultural entertainer for 7 years.
