Are all the databases up to date?

Yes. We do a full update of every school every 6 months.

Is it possible to remove specific schools from the list of selected schools?

When you fill out the school selection form you will see that there is a section called “Exclude Schools.” Add the school’s name and location (state and municipality) here, and we will remove it from the list.

Can I send different resumes according to the state to which it is directed?

If you can work in different states, it would be great if you would send us multiple resumes with different postal addresses and contact information (for example, one for California, another one for Texas, etc.). Thus, the effectiveness of the service is not diminished because you are living far from a school, or in a different state. We will organize the delivery so that each state receives the right resume.

Is it necessary for me to send a cover letter?

We believe that it is very important to include a personalized cover letter. If you want to send it by email, we add this letter to the body of the message to be sent to the schools. You can see on this page some examples of teachers’ cover letters addressed to private schools.

Are positive job responses guaranteed?

This does not depend solely on us; it will also depend on the content of your resume. Unfortunately, we cannot assure you that by hiring our services you will find a job as the market is very competitive. The more you disseminate your resume, the more chances you have to be considered in selection processes.

What does the cost of the service depend on?

The price of the service depends on the number of schools your resume is sent to, the way it is distributed, as well as whether you have hired other additional services such as having your resume written for you or having it translated. We advise you to check our Prices section.

What are the payment methods for the service?

Using a debit or credit card, or through PayPal. In the school selection form, you will find these payment options.

Which distribution method is more effective, email, or postal mail?

We cannot give you a conclusive answer. Distribution by email is less effective than by post mail (we consider between 5% and 7% error in the deliveries made by e-mail), but the price is also considerably lower than postal mail, thus, your resume can reach more schools. You must decide which option best suits you.

Is there a minimum number of schools to hire?

Yes, hiring email the minimum is 30. With post mail, the minimum is 20.

How can I send you my resume?

Included in the school selection form, you will find the option to send us all the required documents: resume, cover letter, etc. You can also send them through our contact form or by email at contactanos@curriculumexpress.com.

Will I receive the list of schools to which my CV has been sent?

Yes. You will find the list of schools to which we will have sent your resume in your Personal Area.

How do your discounts work?

It is my fourth time hiring your services and I’m being charged. Shouldn't it be free?

The discount is always applied to the lowest price between the last contract and the current one. Thus, if the third contract had a lower cost than the fourth, the free contract will be the third. If the fourth contract has a lower cost than the third contract, the free contract will be the fourth. For example, if the third contract had a cost of US $ 20.00 and the fourth contract has a cost of US $ 30.00 without the discounts, the free contract will be the third since as is the one with the lowest price. The final value of the fourth contract will be US $ 10.00 (the initial US $ 30.00 minus the US $ 20.00 of the third contract). On the discounts page, we explain how it works in detail.

Is it possible to know if the recipients actually received and read my resume?

No. We cannot send you this information, considering that when we send your resume, we do not request a confirmation of receipt. Requesting it would mean a nuisance for the schools that receive it, and could end up having a negative outlook upon the submission.

I have my own business. Can I send advertising through CVExpress?

We do not offer these types of services. We only send resumes to the schools. We prefer not to send any other type of information since, in a way, it may harm the image schools have of us.

I chose the “Schools within a specific distance” option, how does it work?

This option selects the schools that are within a certain distance from a specific point. For this to work, you must enter the address or city from which you want to select the schools, as well as the maximum miles to establish a search radius. Keep in mind that the miles are linear and not by road, so there may be schools that are further than the selected distance in reality. Why are there repeated schools on my delivery receipt?

There are schools that have the same name, but different postal addresses and emails. Your resume is sent to each of them. This is the reason why the same name may appear several times in the list of schools in which we have sent your resume.

Is this delivery service only for teachers?

No. Any person who intends to work in private schools can hire these services.

How will I be able to get in touch with the schools that are interested in my resume?

The schools that are interested in your resume will contact you directly. Our goal is to ensure that your resume reaches the schools you have chosen.

How can I know that my resume has been distributed by email?

If you chose to send your resume by email, once the delivery is complete, you will receive your own resume, as your private email account is added to the same list of recipients as your selected schools. This way, you can see the design that we have used in the delivery of your resume and you can know the moment in which it has been sent. Once this is done, we also provide you with the list of schools to which we have sent your resume. Finally, we will forward all the responses we receive from the schools in the account that we created to deliver the resumes to your personal account. What does the email you send to schools look like?

In order to create the message to be sent to the schools, we will need your resume (which we will add as an attachment), and the cover letter that we will add in the body of the message. In the subject of the message, we include a brief description of your professional profile. We will create an email account with your name (example “John Smith john_smith@cvexpres.com”), and the messages will be sent through this new account so that they have a personalized aesthetic. We can also create a unique domain (Example: resume@john-smith.com.). If the schools reply to this account, the replies will be forwarded to your personal account. What month is the best to send my resume to private schools?

The main hiring period for teachers is between April and June, as they are the months in which schools prepare the staff for the next academic year. Later, in August and September, the staff has to be confirmed for the beginning of the course, but there are always last-minute changes or substitutions that require the hiring of teachers. Furthermore, the goal of our service is that the schools have your resume saved during a school year, and that they can access it at any time of the year they require.

If the delivery is by email, what email address do you use for it?

We create an email account with your name (example “John Smith john_smith@cvexpress.com”), and all messages will be sent through this new account, so they have a personalized aesthetic. If the schools reply to this account, these responses will be forwarded to your personal account. You can see on this page an example of a message ready to be sent to schools. There is also the option of creating a customized domain for the email account. Example: resume@john-smith.com. This service has an additional cost that you can check on our pricing page.

Will I be able to access a list with the email addresses of the schools?

We do not provide them. Keep in mind that it is vital information for us and that it requires a lot of work and resources to update it. It is important to make clear that these email addresses are public and available in the websites of these schools.

Is it possible to remove the text from the footer of the message that will be sent to schools?

It is not possible to remove the text from the footer of the message, as it allows our messages not to be considered as spam. In it we give schools the chance of unsubscribing from our databases.

When will my resume be emailed?

Once the service has been hired, we will send you a validation message within 48 hours. This message is a copy of the one that schools will receive. Once you authorize it, we will distribute your resume within a maximum period of 5 business days and we will provide you with a list of the schools to which your resume was sent. When will schools receive my resume if it’s sent by post?

Letters usually take a maximum of 3 weeks to reach their destination, from the moment the service is hired. We invite you to check our sending your resume by post mail page where we expand this information.

When sending the resume via post mail, are the photocopies color-printed?

If you wish, we can use color-printed photocopies for the delivery. You choose the number of sheets of your resume that will be sent in color or if all of them will be in color. This service has an additional cost that you can consult on our pricing page.

How many sheets can the resume have if it is sent by post?

The maximum number of sheets that the letters we send to the schools can have is four. We recommend a resume consisting of 2 sheets and a cover letter. If you want to add more than four sheets, contact us to ask for a personalized quote.

If the delivery is by post, is there any reference to your services in the envelope?

No. There is no reference to us. It is as if you had prepared the envelope and mailed the letters yourself.

How long will it take to receive the first rough draft of my resume?

Once you have purchased the resume creation services, we will upload a rough draft in your Personal Login within 24 to 48 hours. We will notify you via email and send a text message so you can review the document and request modifications.

How long will it take to receive my completed resume?

The turnaround time depends on you. If we need more information to create the resume or you request modifications, it could take longer. The sooner you submit the requested information, the faster we will complete your documents. It is important for you to frequently check your email and answer our questions as soon as possible.

What documents do I have to submit to have my resume created?

You must send us your current resume in Word or PDF format, regardless of how it is structured. It is important to include your updated personal information, professional objective and your main skills and abilities, so that we can adequately draft your cover letter.

Can I only buy the template? What´s the price?

If you want us to send you the Word template of any of the templates within our catalog and create your resume yourself, you can do so within our Contracting Form. The price is included in our rates section.

In what format will I receive my resume?

We will deliver your resume in both Word and PDF formats. If you have chosen the Online CV, we will provide you with the URL of this document. If you have chosen a Video CV, we will send you the video in x format.

Can I request any modifications to my resume once it has been received and validated?

Yes. Please refer to the updates section, where we will take care of all your requested changes to your resume. The price of the service is US $7.9 yearly which includes all requested updates during that year. These updates are: changes to personal information, colors, backgrounds and additions. They do not include changes to the structure of the resume.

Will I be able to do the modifications to the resume myself in the future?

We will send you your RESUME in Word format so, if necessary, you can make modifications at any given time. Don´t forget about our updates section, where we take care of requested changes to your resume. You simply must explain the changes you want, and we will make them.

My resume is very long, will it be the same price? Is there a limit as to the number of pages in the set price?

The set price is for a maximum of four (4) pages. Contact us if you have a longer resume, so we can create a custom estimate.

Can I have a template created in a different color than those included in your catalog?

Sometimes it may be possible to create a resume in a different color than those displayed on the website. Contact us and explain your ideas.

Can you create an exclusive design for my resume? What´s the price?

It is possible to customize a resume design. To do so, you would have to send us a list with your requirements, and we will create a custom estimate.

Do you have a guide or special format if I want to create a cover letter on my own?

Yes, visit the teacher cover letters page. It includes examples of cover letters addressed to different professional sectors and in different languages. Feel free to copy these as you create your cover letter.

What is the price for having my resume and cover letter translated to another language?

This depends on the length of the documents. The price is US $7.50 per page, and each page can have a maximum of 600 words. The languages we translate to include Spanish, French, and German. Please contact us for other languages. You can find more information in our translation resume page.

What is the price for translating my resume to another language and for creating the resume from one of your templates?

The price for creating the template is US $19.50 and the translation fee is US $7.50 per page of up to 600 words. You can find more information our translation resume page.

Do all languages have the same price?
